Joseph Jachimowicz, B.A., LL.B., is a Senior Lawyer at the Deer Lake Law Group. Joseph has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia for over 20 years.
Obtaining his law degree from the University of Dalhousie in 1990, Joseph returned to his hometown of Vancouver and became a member of the Law Society of British Columbia in 1991.
During his many years in practice, Joseph has helped clients deal with legal issues in various areas of the law. His current practice is focused on Personal Injury, including ICBC claims and accidents on premises (restaurant, store, city property, etc.); Injury or Disability in the workplace, including issues with Workers Compensation Board (WCB), WorksafeBC, and WorkSafeBC Reviews and Appeals; and Employment Law, including wrongful dismissal, workplace discrimination and harassment and unpaid wages.
Joseph is a skilled negotiator with years of experience working with ICBC and various other insurance companies. He also understand how significantly the lives of his clients are impacted when they have been hurt in an accident, hurt at work or fired from work.
Joseph also handles matters pertaining to Business Contracts and Disputes, Employer and Employee Rights, and general Civil Litigation matters

Mosope Fagbongbe, LL.B, LL.M, Ph.D., is an Associate Lawyer at the Deer Lake Law Group. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Lagos, Nigeria. Mosope obtained a second Master of Laws from the University of Manitoba and Doctoral degree from the University of British Columbia.
Mosope was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1997, where she started her career as junior legal counsel with a corporate law firm in Lagos. She moved to legal research and teaching, specializing in Constitutional, Criminal and Human Right Law.
Mosope was a Sessional Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia before successfully receiving a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
She completed her articling year at a national law firm, and at the law department of a major oil and gas company in Calgary, Alberta. She was called to the Alberta Bar in July 2016 and joined the Law Society of British Columbia in 2017.
Mosope’s current practice is focused on Business law, Immigration, Labour and Human Rights Law. Her priority is to achieve her clients' objectives in an efficient and thoughtful manner.
